  1. VBBS HYPERTEXT DOCUMENTATION is designed for quick and easy access to
  2. VBBS documentation from the WFC menu or the dos prompt.  
  3.  
  4. To install:  All files must be in the SAME directory. If so, then just
  5.              type GO at the prompt. If they are not in your VBBS
  6.              directory, then the call from the WFC must run from a batch
  7.              file with a cd\command as shown below:

  9.              cd\vbbs\vdoc
  10.              vdoc.exe
  11.              cd\vbbs
  12.  
  13. WARNING!:    Traditional VBBS Documentation is NOW USED BY Hypertext help.
  14.              These Files MUST reside in the same directory so VDOC can
  15.              create and update them each time it runs.
  16.  
  17. Installation and Setup:
  18.         Copy ALL the files in this program to your vbbs documentation 
  19.         directory.  c:\vbbs\doc is recommended.
  20.         Please do NOT remove or attempt to edit any files in this package.
  21.         FREE SPACE REQUIRED AFTER UNZIPPING COMPLETE VDOC PACKAGE 1.6 MEGS.

  23. USING VDOC:
  24.         Type VDOC and enter to start the program.  Each Time you do this
  25.         you have the  option of updating  the vdoc1.txt file.  Doing so
  26.         updates the hypertext documentation from the conventional files.

  29. BLACK SCREEN:
  30.         A black screen is normal for a couple seconds (varies depending
  31.         on your processor speed, between the compiling to VDOC1.TXT and
  32.         the startup of VDOC Hypertext Help.  Please wait.

  34. FUTURE:
  35.         Shortly,  with the definitive release of VBBS 6.20 we will be 
  36.         networking updates to the documentation so that it will not be 
  37.         necessary to download the complete documentation archive with each
  38.         new release.  Please consider this documentation utility still
  39.         under development.
